A dear friend of mine passed away on Friday. I met both him and his wife while going thru radiation last fall. Bill was 70 years old. While I'm glad Bill no longer suffers his passing
has cast a gloom over me since. Comes with wearing your emotions on my shirt sleave.
When Mary called me she said Bill often talked about me. He believed he at least lived 70 years and was saddened that I was only 54. Thats the kind of man Bill was. His wife Mary was a great caregiver. I feel sad for her and her family.
Please say a prayer on Tuesday at 1pm for Bill & Mary.
The services will be held outdoors at a scenic park in Fond du lac, WI. I only knew them for a short time but we shared the same illness. It's a special bond as you all know.

I suppose the only way we can avoid the pain of losing someone that we care about, is to live isolated in a glass bubble, and that would be a very sad way to live out our lives, so I will say a prayer for you all.

Of course I will be saying a prayer for your friends, and especially you. You are always in my prayers, as is everyone here, but on Tuesday you get a special BIG one because that is the day my office prayer group meets. Don & I are sending a huge HUG for you ! I know you are going through the pain of loss and we hope that helps ease it a little. Your friend, his family and YOU are in our prayers.
The only thing I can say is that I know you are hurting because you care so deeply for people...that is the wonderful gift God blessed you with and the rest of us get the benefit. I know that you blessed me with all your messages on this board but when I met you in person I knew I'd met a real live ANGEL! You are a joy to everyone you meet and I know that you made your friend's life a little brighter everyday just by remembering your loving ways. You have the blessing of adding him to your heart strings and that is what sews together the cloth of your life...it is what makes you the wonderful person you are. I know now that Bill's string is now a GOLD thread making your heart shine brighter!

The services were held in a lovely park in Fond Du Lac, WI in front of a gezabo with a fountin waterfall behind us. I was able to meet his family and friends. They were as we would describe "Good People".
Mary is holding up well but I'm sure she will need some support for awhile. I directed her to this website and I'm sure we will here from her soon. her son Bill jr. is getting her computer back on line.
As her family spoke of Bill the tears flowed freely. I only knew Bill when he was ill. He was
a lovely man in his younger years. I wish we had met under different circumstances.
