Essiac? MGN-3? Flax seed oil? Did anybody used shark cartilage for it's supposedly anticancerous properties? Any recomendations on the most reliable and affordable source? (Without going shark hunting myself ) Les | | |

There are plenty of web sites promoting some "cure" other than radiation, chemo and surgery... but to date there is none. They are merely using bad science and outright lies to separate you from your money. Shark Cartilage for instance has never stood up to scrutiny, and even 60 minutes did a piece on it years ago showing that it was completely without merit. When in doubt about any of these things go to the quackwatch site and look around. The link is on our resources page in the main body of the web site. Be careful what you take, and make sure that you discuss any herbal, vitamin, or antioxidant additions to your diet with your doctor before adding them to your conventional medicine regime. Some of them have a negative effect on the conventional therapies.
