Hi
My mom started her first round of chemo this week-carboplatin and fluorouracil for the last five days and now three days later she is feeling soreness in her stomach, not so much nausea but a type of soreness. Is this a common side effect with this drug? Any information you could give would be great. Thanks.

Denise....I don't know if this is normal or not normal, however, make sure you mention any new pains or changes to your oncologist. They need to know this information, and if there is a problem they can do something about it immediately. Good Luck! Sincerely, Donna
