I woke up this morning hurting more than I did when I had a tongue infection before the 1st surgery. Couldn't even swallow my meds. And to top that off, I must have accidently reset the timer on my coffee pot. LOL Had cold coffee to go with the pain. Good old Micro was there to save me. LOL Have great day all.

It's noon and no let up of the pain. I have take A hydrocodone liquid, a percoset and a xanax. THis pain is laughing at those things. Barb is coming over, that will help a lot. She called this morning and was burning french toast LOL. I like my food well done and told her to bring it with her. Maybe charcoal would help relieve this pain or numb my throat to match my mind. I hope you all had the best Christmas ever.. I still haven't tried that oxycontin.

Just take all the meds you need!
I decided yesterday that if I needed them, that's what I would do and have done so!
Okay, so I'm a bit dopey--tho as Ray, my partner says, no dopier than normal!!
Am sitting now sucking on some chocolate!
Hope you and Barb have a good day!

The day was very good and I enjoyed what time I had with Barb. LOL We just going to take her daughter and drop her off at her grandmas. Well, after Barb got finished with our short ride, we must have covered 100 Miles or so so she could take us To Dennys to eat. We had a fun day and hope you all did too. Most placces were closed and we ate at Dennys last year and shw wanted to do the same this year.

I wsih someone would tell her how the side affects of cancer can affect a persons mental state. She just doesn't believe me what it can do.. It happens and to all of us who went thru this stuff, know we did it and are sorry. I Need someone that experienced this garbage to send her a letter explaining the mental part of OC.. He address is the same as mine for now. I would appreciate and need any help I can get before it's too late for us to ever be one as before.. Thank you

I can send a letter and tell her of my experience. My Dr says with any kind of cancer we also get " Mental cancer " ....That it takes over our minds and emotions as well..some more then others.

Jim,

I remember Barb's first and last post. I remember her concern for you in the beginning. And, I seem to remember her frustration towards you posting about your breakup story on line and for some of us rooting for a happy ending. (I think I was one of those guilty parties rooting for the fairybook ending wink )

I think she was sending a message to tread lightly. If I was in her shoes, I would not want my first and last name along with my home address published with a plea for letters supporting my (current or ex) significant-other's point of view.

Be careful, Jim. Maybe one thing to consider is the emotional toll that cancer has on the caregiver. She's been there and continues to be there for you when you need her the most.

I think someone suggested babysteps after all you have tried. That might be a good suggestion. Another idea might be to remove her name and address from your posting.

If my husband and I were not in a good place and he did something like that, I'd be hopping mad.

Just my humble opinion.

Wishing you well.

Margaret
