Jim: Find out if there is a Senior Citizens Center or any type of Community Center in or near Barnesville.

We live in a small town in Central N. C. Every Christmas Day, the community comes together to have a noon-day meal, and EVERYONE is invited. Local businesses donate items for door prizes, music is provided (my sister is one of the entertainers every year)...The goal is to ensure that NO ONE is alone on Christmas Day.

My point is, DO NOT accept being alone. I'm sure there is a Soup Kitchen or Homeless Shelter or SOMEWHERE that you could possibly volunteer for a couple of hours on Christmas Day, if you're up to it physically.

Check your local newspaper, or look at flyers in business windows....Ask at church on Sunday!

Don't make me have to fuss at you! lol

Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers...

Lois & Buzz

Hi Jim, Remember, "a log that burns alone quickly goes out, but one that is part of a nice big fire that burns with a pile of others makes for a great quality fire, keeping people warm and fed!" -I'm pretty sure its a quote from the bible but not in those words exactly, but im sure you get my drift! Together, we are like a BIG WARM FIRE for you...you arent alone. I am only ONE of MANY here thinking of you, sending you positive vibes, blessings and prayers and only good can come from that...nothing bad! You will be first off the rank tonight at my own Prayer time!
Love from Lyn XX
