I work in a medical surgical unit and see allot of radical neck disections. it scares the hell out of me. guess ill know more tomorrow. if anyone has experiences or anything they would like to share with me i would love to hear from you. i think my email addy is avail to everyone. thanks for reading this. i just feel really scared. scott in jersey sayervillescott@verizon.net | | |

I don't know how I found this posting about you, but I can understand the fear. After finding out Tom needs more surgery to clear margins (modified radical) he will need 6 wks of radiation treatment. He too had a plugged ear and was on antibiodics, but a lump in his neck was the giveaway. We have been told this is a curable cancer, but we both talked this morning and we are both still scared. Best of luck to you, keep us updated. Barbara

Scared is normal. We have all been there, done that. Sitting around waiting for results or the first appt is nerve racking at best. Give us an update on what the doctors said after you have your appt.
Take care, Eileen P.S. as you can see by my signature, I'm just down the street if I beleive your email address
