In any case, I know I've found the best place to get information and support, and I thank you all in advance. My sister (51 years old) will have surgery next October 11 (difficult to explain technical aspects)and I'll keep reading your posts in order to have a better idea of the process and give her my best help. And the my fisrt question: is it possible to get automaticalle by email all the posts? Possibly it is explained somewhere but I have not been able to find it . Anderson is one of the top 5 U.S. cancer centers. Most doctors will treat cancer, but few doctors specialize only in cancer. Oral cancer represents a small percent of cancers so a doctor with experience in "cancer" most likely will not be an expert in all the little differences in oral cancer.

The health system is very different in the US and Spain, so some of your particularities don't apply here, but it's quite difficult to explain all the differences. It is great that she has specialists, and the fact that she does tells me that the most important decision has already been made.
