OK, a question I was not sure if I wanted to ask but hey if we can talk about our BMs or lack of them I figured I might as well ask away. I briefly mentioned that on my post tx PET scan something lite up in the anal area, I have since had a colonoscopy and 2 polyps were found, the doc removed them and said worst case scenario they were precancerous, they were sent to pathology but he said he really didn't think it was anything to be concerned about. There was nothing there on the PET scan pretreatment 3 months prior. I spoke with a friend today who said her son had the same issue after chemo, he was a very young teenager at the time.
My question is has anyone else had issues with polyps in the colon area after chemo? Has anyone ever read anything about a link between polyps and chemo. It seems like a reach to me but you never know with that poison and I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Thanks for the intimacy! I have had so many polyps over the years and many precancerous. Oddly right after chemo was the only time in my life I had a clean colonoscopy.

Since treatment, polyp free but I eat a lot of high fiber foods regularly. The important thing...be well but be diligent.
