Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 1 | Well I am happy to have a support group to turn to as there is not one locally. I just completed Surgery on April 20th and 36 radiation treatments mid July. I am doing well...Stage II cancer with some facial nerve involvement no lymph nodes although the margins were questionable. Can anyone relate?

Where was your cancer located? Oral cancer can be in many different places. It seems to be most commonly found on the base of tongue (BOT), sides of tongue, and tonsil area. Mine was behind my left top molar and also inside my left cheek, then it was in my jaw bone.

Welcome to OCF. Seems like you have made it mostly through treatment fairly well. There is still lots of advise here for you dealing with side effects both short and long term. welcome, don
