Each day it gets a little better yet it's still quite sore. How long do we wait before we try and eat real food. I feel like trying some soup or other soft food. Also Is it ok to blend real food and insert it into the peg tube. I am currentely injecting 8 cans of insure per day with about 1000cc of water per day. My weight is holding steady, no gain or loss. Should I increase my consumption to 9 or 10 cans? Won't start rad for another two to three weeks.

You will clog it up for sure and have to have it replaced. I even had to use extra care when pulverizing tablets of medication, and then dissolving them in water, being careful to follow each injection of solution in the tube with clear water. Even with this care, my tube got plugged on a regular basis. Blended stuff will be too thick and just cause you problems. When your mouth is ready for the "mush" save it for there.
