With the amount of pain you have been in, I think any surgery pain will feel like an improvement - at least I sure hope so!! Your angels are on guard for you. Many hugs. Marginal mandibulectomy 6/17/08 resulted in DX of Stage I SCC - gingiva (3 mm) right mandible, buccal side. Clear margins. Occasional social drinker. Smoked last cigarette in 1979. Clear pet: 12/08; 7/20/09. Yay!

I'm sure he knows we're all waiting to hear from him. I pray he's doing fine and getting rest.

I had the address from last time too, and sent him a "Heart" card yesterday, without his room number. As someone said on the Forum last time he was in hospital, everyone in the hospital will know where he is, knowing our Jim! I sent a text message to Christine this a.m., and she's still without power. I knew she was going to talk with some of Jim's relatives after surgery and inform us, so I'm sure she will when she gets power.
