Joined: Oct 2011 Posts: 225 | My brother's weight has gone from 79 to 75 kilos since being fitted for his radiation mask and the technicians tell him he may need to get the mask re-made and new callibrations worked out for his radiation treatment if the size discrepancy goes beyond the "tolerance".
I think the main problem is he was a real gym junkie, and stopping the gym work as well as losing weight through illness post-PEG insertion has actually changed his body shape and the way he lies on the table. We're a bit worried because it means he has to stop the treatment while the new mask gets made.
Has anyone had this happen?

I lost most of my lower hair do my pony tail didn't prop my head up any more - so I used a crunchy on what was left to keep my head at the same height - the tech should have some ideas. Good luck!
