Other bouts saw faster results, same med. This time I taste a nutty orange flavor, which the bottle says is there. Don't remember that. Can a person sometimes need two rounds to get rid of thrush? I am going off steroids which I hope helps the meds work. On a good note: a friend drove me to the library today, my first outing since treatment ended and recovery began 2 weeks ago. I was anxious but it went fine. Tomorrow CVS? -Michelle

When I would get thrush, I would change every single thing that came in contact with my mouth. (the pillow cases, cup in the bathroom, toothbrush, chapstick, lipstick, etc...) I didnt want to take a chance of the thrush not going away due to my neglect.
Congrats on your recent outings! I bet it feels great to venture out after such a long time. Be careful not to overdo it, your immune system is still weak and you are very susceptible to all kinds of germs. I have every third or fourth. The doc thinks once I am off the steroid (Friday)(which raises blood sugar) and if I continue another round I should be all right. But, man, I did not need this. -Michelle
