| Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 16 "OCF across the pond" Member | OP "OCF across the pond" Member Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 16 | i had an operation on the right side of my cheek recently for a LOW GRADE MEC this was my second op, i have a bump in my gum, the doctor said its just gum tissue and it is, but a week ago at my check up i asked if it would shrink or not, she said gum tissue doesn't just go away tho, but in the last couple of days its shrinked loads, does anyone know if this is something to worry about, sorry of its a stupid question thanks

Swelling can take months to subside. No question is a stupid one! Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Thank goodness here in the UK there are no financial constraints on seeing a doctor.
Diagnosed Early April 2010 SCC left tongue t3n1 PEG insertion 26th April 2010 Patial glossectomy with flap from arm and left neck dissection 28th April 20 sessions of radiotherapy in June PEG removal Today - yippee! 19th Nov
