I'm moving to Boston on Monday for a month to wrap this up. My mouth is already a bit dry after only 4 rad treatments. I feel like I should talk to my RO about where he is aiming this thing. I'm also wondering why I didn't have a neck disection. I think it's because they thought this was a cyst and didn't realize it was cancer till they sent it to the lab. The surgeon did say he took out some surropunding nodes and that they were clear.
Lump in left side neck discovered Sept 2009 Misdiagnosed & FNA inconclusive Large lymph node removed Nov. 2010 SCC and HPV16 pos PET pointed tonsilectomy Feb. 2011 1ml tumor left side tonsil Rads scheduled March 14th 2011. 2X36 GY's (72) CarboTaxol once a week X 4 or 5 starting 4/5/11 No PEG

The viewpoints of the forum members are strictly their own and not the position of, nor endorsed by, the Oral Cancer Foundation.
If your State or Country allows for the legal use of Medical MJ, with a doctors prescription, then that is your personal decision to make.[/color]

(Plus I would have to suffer delusional posters in silence when they tout whatever miracle diet or supplement or secret cure instead of debunking them in the tone and tenor they deserve) I'm more of a NORML guy than a Cheech or Chong. charm 65 yr Old Frack Stage IV BOT T3N2M0 HPV 16+ 2007:72GY IMRT(40) 8 ERBITUX No PEG 2008:CANCER BACK Salvage Surgery 25GY-CyberKnife(5) 3 Carboplatin Apaghia /G button 2012: CANCER BACK -left tonsilar fossa 40GY-CyberKnife(5) 3 Carboplatin Passed away 4-29-13
