Just had my first year CT scan. I guess I should know results soon. Although everything is looking good so far.

I'm just saying I have no more to add.

Well I will add that I hope the CT scan is all clear. I like your web site and classic picture there. Plus nice of you to bump up Nate's u-tube videos. Keep on documenting your success story. We need more of them

Hoping your rsults are nothing but the best of news.


Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.

Got email this morning there is a slightly enlarged lymph node under my chin. Going in tomorrow morning for them to stick a needle in there I would assume.

I hope its negative Eric. I just had my first 3 month after treatment CT scan two weeks ago and it showed lesions on my tonsils. I now have to wait until end 21st of Jan for a PET scan and another CT in Feb to compare results and see if the lesions improve. I'm praying for both you and me for negative results. Keep us posted.

03/10 SCC T1-T2
Partial Glossectemy end March - margins not clear enough.
While waiting for resection - cancer returned,2 new cancerous lumps
Re-section End May & flap from cheek attatched. Margins clear.
Mid June - 4 teeth out
Mid July -32 Rads and 3 Cisplatin
6th Sept 10 Finished Treatment!!

Getting the biopsy in couple weeks. Dr doesn't think its anything but better safe than sorry. Of course for me this was the same thinking before it was said I had cancer, so I don't take anything lightly.

I will report back early next month.
