Funny, we had a memo (Drawing) that passed around work in the early nineties that had a frogs upper body in a pelicans mouth as if he's being eaten. The frog had his front hands wrapped oround the pelicans throat and caption reads, "Never, ever give up." I thought of that during my surgery. When recurrence struck and I embarked on Chemo and Radiation the first time in hematology office I went for bloodwork that memo was posted on the side of a cabinet. Became a Mantra for me throughout the journey. Very touching video. Thank you for sharing and hope Ron is well.

I myself think he is not doing well, he's taken the same path that put him in the predictament he's in now. I can't get thru to him what he is doing to himself is not good. So I don't say anything to him anymore. His voice is raspy and I can hardly understand him now because of him smoking. I told him he sounded better when he was going thru radiation, now he sounds like a mouthful of mush, I can only imagine what is going on inside there and his throat and voicebox and everywhere else. I guess he has given up and just keeps smoking and drinking...I can't help him anymore if he don't want the help, so I've given up on him too.
