Hi all,it has been a busy couple of weeks . VA called and Bobs surgery has been moved up to the 3rd of November. Bob said he is more ready to get it out then he is nervous. I am ready too it seems like it has been forever sence he was diagnosed. Wish us luck and that when they cut that jaw bone they dont find any cancer in it. We are trying to stay strong as possible.

I wish you both well. I remember how relieved we were when Clark's original surgery was moved up from December 15th to November 20th. We just wanted to get on with it, too.

All the best
Anita

It seems you are as happy as I am for having my surgery date moved up by 2 weeks. I have mine the 2nd of November and sure will be thinking of you on the 3rd.

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
