While waiting for surgery date the past few weeks have gotten harder to eat anything because the side of my jaw I chew on is becoming mis-aligned,almost like my lower jaw is sub-consciously trying to run away from the tumor. It feels tight and irritating, just wondering if anyone has experienced this while waiting for treatment?

Nathan

Hi Nate,

No I never had that feeling before surgery, but after surgery and to this day every once in a while my jaw aches. Especially when it's going to rain. I take tylenol and the aching goes away. After surgery I was on Roxycodine it was liquid form my surgeon told me 2 week supply and then your on tylenol it worked.

I'll be thinking about you on the 16th I hope all goes well for you. Keep us posted.

Take care,
Connie

The tumor is pressing on nerves. My jaw was doing some strange things before surgery. Everything is all out of wack now due to the tumor. Don't worry too much. Just be patient and calm and know they are gonna get rid of this for you. K
