Sorry to ask such a basic question, but is there a way to email certain threads to other people? I tried to search the board but maybe I'm just not computer savvy enough. Thanks.

Hi Annie,

At the top of this page in the address bar (where you type in the web address) you'll see this address:

http://www.oralcancerfoundation.org...b/get_topic/f/1/t/001408/p/1.html#000000

When you are in a thread, you can copy the address from the address bar, like I did. And, then paste that address into an e-mail message.

I hope that made sense. :-)

Annie,

The other thing you can do is simply highlight the posts you want the other person to see by clicking and dragging your mouse, then go up to the menu on your web browser and click on EDIT and then COPY (or, if you use Windows, hold down the control key on your keyboard and press "C"), then go to your email program and click on EDIT then PASTE (or, if you are using any version of Windows, just hold down the "Control" button and press "V" and the posts you highlighted will show up in the text of the email.

In Windows' Internet Explorer, under the File command at the very top of the page, choose Send -- then you'll get a choice between sending the contents of the page in an e-mail (basically a snapshot of the page) or sending a link to the page (the web address) in an e-mail.

There is a similar function in Macintosh Safari -- Mail Contents of This Page and Mail Link to This Page. My Mac version of Firefox appears to allow just sending a link, not the contents.

The only hitch I see is that if you choose to send the contents of the page and the thread runs to two or more pages, you'll send just the first page.
