Sorry to have vanished, but I have been working 45 - 60 hours a week for the last couple of months and in full scramble.
Tweaking and tinkering with some things, my current weight jumped to between 190 and 200 pounds since making some changes in December. Eating pretty well and I am able to lecture-talk for a full day if needed.
In line for a job WITH good medical INS, I am hoping to get back on the follow-up schedule and perhaps even a PET scan soon.
3 years since that last treatment and still improving [{:-). Heat tollerance seems a problem, but that may just resolve with more muscle mass built.
Swedish Hospital in the Seattle area may be looking a little closer at some of my home-made tweaks.

ENT conjectures before, no PET approved by HMO. Metastasis 11/06. CT 2/07: mass RT sub-mandibular gland. 7 CM mass/tonsil, base of tongue removed, biopsies 2/07 and 3/07. Vein lost, RT face numb. PET scan: spot in chest, un-investigated. Oral surgery 4/07. 3X Cisplatin and 32X IMRT from 4/07-5/07.

You are very very fortunate to be able to eat decently. Congrats on doing so well recovering and hoep to hear more positive stories soon
