I used to scour reports like these when I first started on these boards...in fact one discussion is how I famously got to know Charm so well laugh The fact is, humans and animals are different and what researches will put an animal through is different then what they'd do to a human...

Hi rugrat

I also saw this on A Current Affair on TV and originally lived close to the area where they have found this tree. They said on the program that they are hoping to start human trials early next year. Don't know if this will be the answer to everyone's prayers and like Eric said humans and animals are different but we have to start somewhere and this looks promising so far. I know I will never give up hope that somewhere, one of these new ideas/tests etc will be the answer.

Eric, the Aust cancer council have put out a cautious statement along the same line as what u said.

Hi Wendy, good to know someone else saw it too.
Since I've read the cancer council statement i've take a reality bite about it. But I did check up on their website and I have to say I really hope that it works on humans, because on the animals it's almost a miracle ( and yes I have also thought to myself ' if it's too good to be true chances are.....).

meanwhile it's back to radiation and chemo.
