A request has been made for my specialist to put a scope down my throat and have a look.
Specialist did say sometimes if tongue in wrong position during scan can show an anomaly.
Got those scared and worried feeling again like I did in 07.
Thanks Tony

When do you see your Specialist and is it an ENT? Let's hope that he gives you an all clear when you are scoped. It's no fun being in the 'recurrence club' so I hope that ultimately you're not going to become a member! Please let us know the outcome of your appointment and try not to worry too much in the interim. I know that this is easier said than done but many of these scans can show a false positive or an uncertain result which ultimately turns out to be something innocuous.
Good Luck!
Sue

Hi Sue
Thanks for reply and support. I will be seeing the specialist early next week, he is a Head and Neck Professor.
Funny thing is I feel and look great :-)
Have been reading through your signature, how are things going for you?

We do NOT want you in our little club. Trust me, you do not want to join those of us who Brian so eloquently describes "
This forum is to gather the individuals who have been dealt the hard hand of dealing with a recurrence of the disease, the unique emotional issues that accompany that, and the issues related to re treatment
Seriously, I hope that in this case, you are like the popular song by Jack Johnson:
.It seems to me that maybe ...It pretty much always means no
65 yr Old Frack Stage IV BOT T3N2M0 HPV 16+ 2007:72GY IMRT(40) 8 ERBITUX No PEG 2008:CANCER BACK Salvage Surgery 25GY-CyberKnife(5) 3 Carboplatin Apaghia /G button 2012: CANCER BACK -left tonsilar fossa 40GY-CyberKnife(5) 3 Carboplatin Passed away 4-29-13

I hope its not a recurrance. If it is...you have gotten thru it before, so now you are much more educated about OC. PET scans do show alot of false positives, think positive. Oh what a relief.
Thank you all for your kind replies and prayers and keep safe and healthy.
