OMG, I grew up in the true southern tradition, black eyed peas, stewed tomatoes, nanny and all. In fact my nanny also raised my mother and lived with us until she passed away. My grandfather owned a tobacco plantation and I spent many a summer putting the best leaves on top of the bales for auctions. Just because Va is next to the old Mason Dixon Line please don't think that it is anywhere close to a northern mentality.

Your comment about VA not being in the south says it all about the accuracy of your comments. None of your examples are a direct marketing "business". Also you might want to read the defense of sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS)that this "wellness" company retains in its toothpaste despite extensive evidence it is not good for anyone with impaired or damaged mouth tissue as many on this board have. SLS has been linked with canker sores and most "health" toothpastes leave it out. Mr V though is quite honest and forthright about needing it to be commercially accepted just as his web site is upfront about being about selling to your friends and family in "win, win, win".
Finally, while "stubborn" Italian men may use tampons and take Midol, perhaps if you would feel better if you stopped using them. Try toilet paper.

David you might have I was just simply stating that VA in the mass majority of people would not consider it the south. I mean we are as far south as you can get but we all know florida is not considered the south. You could as 50 people if they considered VA "the south" and I guarantee 48 of them say no! I was not arguing the fact that you didnt and were not raised like it. However knowing that I need your recipe for mac n cheese! lol, I know you have a good one laying around somewhere! Charm as far as the toothpaste goes I dont use it! I use nothing but biotene but honestly thanks for that info, as far as the midol and tampons go I have access to those because I am married to a beautiful 25 year old. You really need to work on your comebacks if you are going to single out somebody in an argument....just a suggestion!

I have a lot of family from Morgantown WV and that area is straight up "hillbilly"! In fact my 2nd Uncle is Sam Huff, Im sure if you are the slightest football fan you have heard of him. Even though he played for the Giants and Redskins I despise both of those teams with a passion! David, I havent heard much talk about the Bucs this year so far??? lol, Philly plays them next week just so you know!

Finally, a post I can laugh with. When you offered to send me what implicitly were your tampons, I had this scatological image of where you were using them. Good that you cleared it up. I will concede that senior comebacks fall flat with youngsters like yourself.
On a serious note, please accept my apology on the "downline" part as I will take your word on that since I never doubted your honesty but the company's. just an over reaction to the web site's videos on their" mission "to save "stay at home mom's; business professionals' people wanting a secure retirement, families trying to get out of debt" through sales to friends and families and on line acquaintances. But enough of Melaleuca - I think you and I have agreed to disagree on that quite enough.
Time to move on - you issued an open invitation to look into a place to buy vitamins, I accepted it and we had a fun discussion in the same way that boys hit each other hard and harder on the shoulder growing up. If my experience with Eric (the young frack) is any indicator, we may become good cyber friends. [that exchange go so heated Brian had to close down the thread].
Finally, good for you on being a 31 year old with a beautiful 25 year old wife. As a soon to be 62 year old with a beautiful 52 year old wife, we may have more in common than you think. How can I stay mad at someone who donates to OCF?
As EzJim suggested, time to shake hands and laugh.
as ever

I'm not sure if I should get in the middle of this dialog. I am hoping that the two of you are starting to jab at each other in good spirit, and this isn't going to draw blood somewhere. If we re completely off the original topic, perhaps it is time to move this discussion to "the Friends forum".... we are all still friends right?
