I got a clean bill of health, but with a small caveat. Apprarently, there are a small uptake in the mid genioglossus muscles (behind your chin bone). It is not a common location for physiologic uptake. After consulting with two radiologists, it was determined that it was associated with post treatment changes in my BOT area. Neither my chem or radiation onocologist seem to be concerned.
Otherwise, mouth and neck look great. No swelling anywhere. Tongue is pink and mobile. Neck supple.
I'm elated, but since I'm not real clear about this, it's dampened a bit. No one else seems concerned, so that's a good thing.
If anyone has any knowledge, please let me know.
