I know how this happened, but I am scared to death. I just found out that we are expecting baby #3. I am scared that this cancer stuff is coming back. All this ear pain and mouth pain has me worried to death. My psychologist told me to stick to the facts, which were clear PET and my ENT did not see anything at my last visit, but I am still scared to death. Please everyone tell me it is going to be okay. I really want it to be, I did not want this right now. I was going to wait and I tried to time the deed so we would not get pregnant. UGH. Just needed to vent.

breath, it's not cancer until they say it is. This forum is meant for venting, we are all used to this and what we are here are for.

Angelia

It will be all right. Being afraid of a recurrence when my ear or my mouth hurt is something I went through hundreds of times (literally not figuratively) the first year after my TX and they were all false alarms. As long as both your scans and the ENT say you are clear, you will be fine. Just be sure to let your ENT and other doctors know that you are pregnant so that can be taken into account.

I'm with Charm17....evry time I feel a twinge, an ache, or a pain anywhere in my mouth, my heart races. My thoughts and prayers are with you and, trust me, being scared to death is a feeling I continue to share. Guess it's natural in our situations...

Thanks everyone. I do feel little better about all this now. I was talking to a nurse friend of mine. She had mentioned that it could be just all those lovely hormones causing the nerves to be more sensitive. I am going to choose to believe that there is nothing wrong until the Dr says there is. I may have to keep reminding myself that now that I will be bringing a new little one into this world.

Hi Angelia - What the nurse said makes a lot of sense - hormones all over the place would set you up for unnessary worry - just count on those clear scans. Congrats, too! : )
