Yes.
August did and I did. She pegged him right away. Gary shut off his access and IP. His threads will be deleted tomorrow. ( they are locked now ) He logged in as Steven D. Read August's post in "I'm new here" in introduce yourself. He also made a response in another post. In that post he had put his business E-mail address in his signature. I was wondering how many E-mail addresses he got. There were no virus's in his E-mail.

He got mine too. I sent him a not-so-nice request to lose any and all addresses he obtained from this site.

We'll see............

Your email addresses are in your profiles - he just looked them up and harvested them. I toasted the rest of his threads tonight. I have his IP address if anyone else is having problems PM me and I will email it to you and you can file a complaint with his ISP provider.

Please let Mark, Brian or I know immediately when you suspect something like this and we will be all over it. If you use my personal email, I also receive email on my Blackberry so I am connected pretty much 24/7.

He can't even visit here as a guest (along with the "organic coffee enema guy").

You can go into your personal profile and edit your preferences to hide your email address but then no one else would be able to PM you so this is a decision that you will have to make individually.

This is a first for the forum. This will blow over pretty quickly I am sure. We make every effort to maintain an environment where you you can feel safe to be here. We will not tolerate exploitation of any kind.

I was able to locate the post where he had listed his business link, it had already been deleted. I then deleted his post.

Excellent Liz! Keep an eye out for the coffee enema guy (who for legal reasons shall remain un-named) on the other forums as well if you wouldn't mind during your travels.

PS He's listed as Steve E (menaing Steve D that is) on the Mouth Cancer Forum.

Attn: Gary

In the faq there is an answer to: How can I report an inappropiate post? It says to click on this icon...It is a small icon of a telephone with the words "report post". It says an administraror or a moderator will be notified. I clicked it to no avail. Then I thought there was one on each page but could not find one. Is this not operational on this forum? Those who read "this" post now know to e-mail you or Brian. But what will others do if they see a bad posting in the future, and read this message in the faq? It's a shame this guy is upsetting a lot of people, but in reality it is a minute problem. I hope people do not hide their E-mail addresses because of one IDIOT...

I agree Petey. Part of what makes this site so great is the access that we all have to each other. We all need to risk a little to be able to maintain this close community.
