Anyone bring the subjuect up to their DOC and what were the responses. Do they recommend the vacine for our population or not. I will ask today?

It's suggested you book with your GP now. Apparently cancer patients are in the big main group.....so don't quote me or I'll get stoned when I go to work in the morning!!

The swine flu is just another version of the flu that kills thousands of people a year! If you were not worried about catching the regular flu then no need to worry about catching H1N1. The last thing you need is something else to worry about, the more your body is at nautural "ease" the better and quicker you are going to heal. Just my opinion on the good ole swine flu!

We just lost a 20 yr old new mother to the H1N1 in Columbus yesterday or the day before. They induced labor and the baby was born before she died, Pretty young lady.

I asked my Chemo Doc yesterday and she said to get the vacine but not during treatment, so for me thats three more weeks and I don't even think the shot is out yet. She also said family members should get it also.

Weirdest shot I have ever gotten. The tech put the needle against my skin and just slowly pushed it in. As he was doing it I thought it would hurt longer doing it that way but all I felt was the initial break of skin but mentally it was challenging as I could feel the friction of the needle being pushed in. This is either a new way to administer shots or this guy didn't read Shots For Dummies.

April 2006: Husband dx by dentist with leukoplakia on tongue. Oral surgeon's biopsy 4/28/06: Moderate dysplasia; pathology report warned of possible "skip effect." ENT's excisional biopsy (got it all) 5/31/06: SCC in situ/small bit superficially invasive. Early detection saves lives.
