Dick had his semi-annual check-up in Gainesville at Shands Hospital today (it was satisfactory but always in the "vigilant" stage for some bumps and quiet lesions on his lip) but I am happy to report they had ORAL CANCER FOUNDATION CARDS in with their brochures. They were post-card size. Anyway, glad someone was on top of things and spread the word about this very fine organization! Jane : )

Husband: 3 SCC gum and cheek cancers 2002, 2005, 2006: surgery only. Scans clear after removal of small, well differentiated, non-invasive cancers. No radiation. 4th SCC lip diagnosed 4/13/07 - in situ, removed in biopsy. More lip removed 2/8/08 - dysplasia. 2 Biopsies 3/17/09 no cancer (lichenoids)

How can I get some brochures to post in my Dentists office (he found my cancer and was the only one who believed something needed to be done) and my ENT's office.
