My primary was on the side of the tongue not too large, but due to the depth, had a nd, of the many nodes removed one was positive,small and pretty high so no further treatment. That was March 08, had been clear since then until I noticed a lump in my neck pretty much right at the bottom of the U of my scar. Nothing on the tongue, having a PET scan tomorrow. I am not the "typical".... non smoker (except I grew up in a house of smokers where you could cut it with a knife) social drinker, neg for HPV.
