Joined: May 2002 Posts: 2,152 | I had XRT, no chemo and experienced short term memory problems like being unable to retain a 7 digit phone number from the book to the dial. I dial the first three and then had to look back for the last 4. Annoying for someone who had the memory of an elephant. RO still says radiation does not cause memory loss but I'm not so certain. Problem magically went away 7 years after radiation.
