Gary, That is one of the side effects of cisplatin. I don't know if that is the chemo drug you are on, but I am and have had a couple of episodes of hickups and expecially if I am not sitting up correctly when I drink something. And I drink though a straw so that may add to it also. Call your Dr. office and maybe they can send you something out before the week-end. Good luck, Angel

SCC left tonsil, tonsillectomy with additional tissue removed 06/10/08, a few teeth on top left side removed 09/05/08,recurrence before treatment started at BOT and tonsil area, 35 IMRT treatments began 10/15/08, and Cisplatin IV (began10/16/08) weekly for duration of radiation.
