Brian, I also need some literature if possible. There is a strong support group here in my area now, started by me and my group of doctors and I was contacted yesterday by the head of "Dive for Cancer". A local guy that my husband knows owns a dive center and he has been doing fundraisers for the American Cancer Society for a few years now. He is a cancer survivor and incredibly wealthy (he's helping pay for my implants). He wants me to help with the fundraiser, sit on some type of committee/board. I am hoping he will respond to my suggestions to make OCF a recipient of some of the donations.

SCC Left Mandible. Jaw replaced with bone from leg. Neck disection, 37 radiation treatments. Recurrence 8-28-07, stage 2, tongue. One third of tongue removed 10-4-07. 5-23-08 chemo started for tumor behind swallowing passage, Our good friend and much loved OCF member Minnie has been lost to the disease (RIP 10-29-08). We will all miss her greatly.
