My note was not meant to make you feel down, but please, do enjoy the little things like being able to hold your husband's hand. That's what I miss the most. It is a great gift that your husband is doing well, thought I completely understand the stress and hardship of this disease. It is also a wonderful gift that he can watch your son play and still be in your lives each day. No, it will never be the same, but it can still be good. Different isn't bad, it just takes some time to get use to. So, smile, know we are here to support you and please don't hesitate to ask for anything you need.
