Hello.

My father who is 54 years old received treatment for Oral Cancer last year. He was operated on 6th December, 2017 and received 31 rads plus 6 chemo. I am not aware about the specifics and will update them asap.

The operation was to remove the jaw which had the cancer and a skin graph was also performed.

He started experiencing severe lower back pain three days back and wasn't able to sleep. We consulted a doctor who ordered an X-RAY. The X-ray reports state that 'hilar shadows are seen prominent'. His hb is less than normal too. The operation did remove lymph nodes around the neck area. Has anyone else experienced this? Is hilar shadows prominence something to worry about?
