I've had mine for about 8 Months now and so glad I have it as it helps my speech tremendously. I don't feel so lonely now! I know everything up there is not properly working and/or missing, etc., so just felt it goes with the turf, dealing with dripping nose. I still have a huge problem eating with it in, and whether it's in or out my nose seems to like to run now. One major issue I have is the mucous that backs up and I have to clear out. I have this with the obturator in or out, doesn't matter. I recall after my first two battles I had the same thing but it seemed to be more clear, just thick saliva, as oppossed to mucous looking "Junk." I guess I viewed it as just kind of an expectation but this time it also backs up around the soft palate insert.
