The problem with the Erbitux is that there is not an agreed-upon test before administration that it is the appropriate drug for you. They're working to find one, but right now what they know is that there is a correlation between a first cycle rash and improvided survival. You might want to discuss that with your doctors - what to do if you don't get the rash. Erbitux doesn't always work, platinum-based chemos don't always work either.
