Cisplatin is known to cause permanent hearing problems. Some will have low frequency hearing loss while others report ringing in their ears.

Ive had tubes put in my ears 3 times. Its a very simple procedure. Sometimes its even done right in the ENTs office.

The road to a complete recovery is full of ups and downs. It takes the body 2 years to fully recover. Im sure your husband has come a very long way since he finished treatments in July. He still has lots of healing to do before everything is how it will permanently be.
