At a minimum, the intense stand taken by a UNITED STATES drug organization (who one would expect defense from if truly innocent) plus Lance's refusal to continue to fight the charges, gives one doubt about his claims of persecution. No cancer patient, and no Tour de France Winner would ever give up fighting when faced with an obstacle or two. So I don't get it.

I do know that his organization has done tremendous work with and for cancer patients. Those of us who believed in him, bought his books, donated, and were inspired by him, just hope we weren't doing these things because we were naively believing in the Easter Bunny.
