I'm glad to hear from you and that the test results are encouraging. I think his visit to his hometime will do him good.
Ideas on the liquid diet - I started adding rice cereal powder (for babies) to my husbands protein shakes. Don't know if that would work for your dad, but thought it's worth mentioning. Not sure what you have available in New Dehli, but a stroll down the baby food isle might give you some ideas.
