I was first diagnosed with base of tongue cancer in 2000 at the age of 43. I had surgery to remove the tumor and followed with radiation. I've been cancer free for 10 years. In July of this year I developed a sore on the left side of my tongue. The biopsy showed it was cancer so I had part of my tongue removed. I've had 2 sores on my tongue since then. Have had biopsy on both and came back negative. There is still tenderness there. Does anyone know if this is this a common occurance? | | |
