OP Patient Advocate (1000+ posts) Joined: May 2009 Posts: 1,412 | Thanks. Sorry I have not been on in awhile, but my family and I took a vacation. Have PET scan april 5th. I am not anywhere close to eat many solids. I have tried mashed potatoes and it just burns my throat. I can do some jello and things that just slide down. They have to be very moist. Still have the PEG and still using it quite a bit. I have moved on and I do not think about cancer all the time. I did get a call from a gentlemen who is trying to start a support group here in my town asked me if I would be interested in helping out. I jumped at the chance. Anyway I may be beginning a new journey in helping others face to face with this stuff. I will certainly spread the word about OCF.
