CT scans are back, no obvious involvement on the side of the tongue cancer, but some density in a lymph node on the OTHER side of my neck. Could this be caused by inflammation from the 4 teeth I had removed last week? Am I just kidding myself?
Surgery scheduled for Monday October 3. It's going to be a long week.......or a very short one!

It could certainly be due to the healing process. They typically follow up a scan, such as that, with a direct visualization where they take a closer look. Rememeber that scans are only a small piece of the total diagnostic package.

I never had "clean" MRI's in the early post Tx.
