Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum and I don't know if my question has been answered before. I searched and couldn't find anything. If it has, I apologize for asking again. I have some suspicious lesions in my mouth and my dentist said to have them biopsied if they don't go away in two weeks. I have an appointment with an ent in a few days. Thinking down the line, I started to research cancer centers. I didn't think they would take me without a referral but one that I called was able to set up an appointment for me just a few days after my ent appointment. It is a major cancer center and I would have to travel to it. My dilemna is: Should I have the ent do the biopsy or should i get the biopsy at the cancer center???
I would appreciate any help and opinions you can give me about this. I am very frightened and scared and this decision is weighing heavily on me. I just keep going round and round. I want to do this the "right" and best way. (If there is such a thing)

Thank you so much,
Veryscared

Dear Paan,

Thank you so much for your reply. It will be very helpful in making a decision. I can see that speed of diagnosis is important.

Wishing you all the best on this very arduous journey,

Any updates? I've been to three ENT that have all been remiss to doing the biopsy. What path did you take?
