Hello. I have mouth cancer and have had 2 surgeries to remove the squamous cell carcinoma in he left side of my mouth. They then found it had metastasized into some lymph nodes in my neck, which they removed and then I had 7 weeks of chemo and radiation. I have finished the treatments and am now waiting for a pet scan which will not happen until probably July, as they are waiting for the swelling to go down.

I was just told about complications that may happen down the road. They suggested I see a cardiologist and I will be seeing a cancer therapist as I have lock jaw and lymphedema. So the fun doesn't end, I guess. I do rely on he Lord, and for me, that helps give me peace.
