I missed this post during my travels here before. The name Al Toman sounded familiar to me, and then recalled meeting him online a few years ago on another site He was helpful to many seeking advise with HNC. The Chef and author mentioned, Grant Achatz, was inspirational to me, especially with taste and having had stage 4 tongue cancer, after reading an article about him, "The Chef Who Lost his Sense of Taste." I didn't read his book yet, "Life on the Line", but will. Thanks for posting
