More questions. My husband had the PEG put in over six weeks ago. He developed a rapid heart beat in recovery and then was diagonosed with Supra ventricular tachacardia and atrial fibrillation he is now on Amiodarone and Lopressor. He has been seen by two cardiologists and had a bunch of blood work and tests, but no one seems to know the feeling he has of being very aware of his heart beating. It is not racing according to the tests, but he has an almost anxious feeling. Is it possible the PEG could make him feel that way? Has anyone experienced this anxiety type feeling?

I did not have the Peg but the first time I was strapped to the table with my mask I could feel my heart beat so what I am saying is I probably was having some sort of anxiety attack and I would assume it's possible for your H to have it with the Peg. JM2Cents
