Oh yes, try to laugh as much as you can. Some people claim laughter has medical benefits but even if it doesn't, it helps you get through the hard stuff. In fact, fighting cancer has rearranged my priorities enough that laughter is way more important to me now. I regularly watch comedyu central on TV. I bought myself the unabridged Calvin and Hobbes as an end-of-radiation gift! Life can be so hard and unfair at times but it really never fails to be funny as well (today I had to disguise a fit of giggles at a faculty meeting by pretending I was choking on phlegm).....
