Just worth noting. Karl Mueller, bassist for the group, Soul Asylum, passed away at age 41 from a year long battle with cancer. Doctors discovered a large, inoperable tumor between Mueller's trachea and esophagus in May 2004.

Also in the news today, Evan Hunter, a bestselling author who sold more than 100 million books under his own name and the pseudonym Ed McBain, died on July 6 of cancer of the larynx. He was 78.
