I finally got a call from my primary care doctor's nurse yesterday Dec 9. I had a pain in the right side of my chest when I tried to take a deep breath. It hurt like the dickens. On Dec 1st he took two chest x-rays and an EKG. He told me if things were normal he would mail me the results and if it was something to be concerned with they would call. The nurse said the chest x-ray showed Pneumonia on my right lung. Why would it take them 9 days to call me?? They now have me on anti-biotics for ten days. How do they know it's not a reoccurance of the cancer? I don't trust the medical profession much anymore. Daniel

I know exactly what you mean about the medical profession. Dan had an appointment at Hopkins about his PVL and they were no help at all...no studies for this rare disease. Dan also has a swollen gland and jaw pain, so he will be having a CAT scan tomorrow...we had to push a lot just to get another CAT scan and it's been 4 months since surgery. I keep thinking more cancer also, but I will pray for both Dan's that things clear up and no more cancer! Hang in there sweetie, God hears and cares! Deb

Attitude is everything in this fight. I know how hard it is but we have no choice but to stay positive. Hang in there
